Public Holiday

e-PayDay® Payroll Software - Public Holiday (Default Pay Type)

Public Holiday is used when an Employee is taking a Public Holiday and is used in lieu of Award Rate. These payments will be taxed at the marginal rate, which is the same tax rate as their NORMAL Pay.

All payments made using this type will be calculated using the base rate, from the following sections, in the following prority;

  1. The Public Holiday Pay Rate, where the set rate (100%) has been changed.
  2. The Employees Advanced Pay Set Up unless Calculate Base Rate on Advanced Pay Settings is selected,
  3. The Employees Special Award Rate,
  4. The Employees Hours paid at $ in their Award & Agreement.
