Single Touch Payroll (STP) Health Check

!The STP Health Check can be processed manually by following the below and is automatically processed when Post is clicked in the Pay Run / Pay Day, when Tax > STP > Submit Update is clicked and when Create/Submit STP EOFY File is clicked within the End of Financial Year procedure.

1. Click Tax > STP > Single Touch Payroll Health Check.
   One or more of the following errors MAY be displayed depending on what information has been omitted from e-PayDay®. See out list of errors below,

Company Detail Errors

Read here to resolve ALL Company Details errors.

• The Company Trading Name must contain a value.
• The Company Trading Name contains invalid characters.
• The Company Contact Person must contain a value.
• The Company Contact Person contains invalid characters.
• The Company ABN must contain a value.
• The Company ABN is either invalid or incomplete.
• The Company BMS ID must contain a value.
• The Company BMS ID contains invalid characters.
• All or One or more of the Company Street Address fields must contain a value.
• The Company Street Address contains an invalid international address.
• The Company Street Address contains invalid values.
• One or more of the Company Postal Address fields are empty.
• The Company Postal Address contains an invalid international address.
• The Company Postal Address contains invalid values.
• The Company Phone Number must contain a value.
• The Company Phone Number must contain a valid value.

Intermediary Details Errors

Read here to resolve ALL Intermediary Details errors.

• The Intermediary Trading Name must contain a value.
• The Intermediary Trading Name contains invalid characters.
• The Intermediary Contact Person must contain a value.
• The Intermediary Contact Person contains invalid characters.
• The Intermediary ABN must contain a value.
• The Intermediary ABN is either invalid or incomplete.
• The Intermediary Tax Agent Number must contain a value.
• The Intermediary Tax Agent Number must contain ONLY numeric characters.
• The Intermediary Tax Agent Number must be 8 numeric characters.
• The Intermediary Phone Number must contain a value.
• The Intermediary Phone Number must contain a valid value.

Allowance and Deduction Errors

Read here to resolve ALL Allowance and Deduction Errors.

• There is one or There are X Allowances with an STP Code that has not been set.
• There is one or There are X Allowances that will be reported to the ATO, with an STP Code of ‘Not Set’*.
• There is one or There are X Deductions with an STP Code that has not been set.
• There is one or There are X Deductions that will be reported to the ATO, with an STP Code of ‘Not Set*.

Employee Details Errors

Read here to resolve ALL below errors.

• Employee Code is missing.
• Surname is missing.
• Surname contains invalid characters.
• First Name is missing.
• First Name contains invalid characters.
• There is no Employee Address information.
• The Employee Address is incomplete.
• The Employee Address contains incorrect information.
• The Employee Address contains an invalid international address
• Birthdate is missing or invalid
• Birthdate can NOT be before 01/01/1900
• Birthdate can NOT be in the future
• The Home Phone Number must contain a valid value.
• The Mobile Number must contain a valid value.
• Date Hired is missing or invalid.
• Date Hired can NOT be before 01/01/1900.
• Date Hired can NOT be in the future.
• Cessation Date is invalid
• Cessation Date can NOT be before the Date Hired
• TFN is missing.
• A TFN exists, but it may be invalid
• An ABN exists, and the value is invalid
