This setting will automatically override any settings in the Shift Hours Profile where the Clock In/Out times can be matched. If the hours are unable to be matched, the rules set in the Shift Hours Profile will be used instead.
Scenario – Once an Employee works between 6:30 (6 hours 30 minutes) and 7:30 (7 hours 30 minutes) hours, the total for that day is rounded to 7:00 hours.
a) John works from 9:12am until 4:17pm which is 7:05 (7 hours 5 minutes), therefore the total for that day is rounded back to 7:00 hours.
b) John works from 9:12am until 3:51pm which is 6:39 (6 hours 39 minutes), therefore the total for that day is rounded up to 7:00 hours.
c) John works from 9:12am until 4:43pm, which is 7:31 (7 hours 31 minutes), therefore the total for that day is unable to be rounded using this rule.
