Annual Leave

e-PayDay® Payroll Software - Annual Leave No Loading (Default Pay Type)

Annual Leave No Loading is used when an Employee is taking a portion of their Annual Leave entitlement and is used in lieu of Award Rate. These payments will be taxed at the marginal rate, which is the same tax rate as their NORMAL Pay.

All payments made using this type will be calculated using the base rate, from the following sections, in the following prority;

  1. The Annual Leave No Loading Pay Rate, where the set rate (100%) has been changed.
  2. The Employees Advanced Pay Set Up unless Calculate Base Rate on Advanced Pay Settings is selected,
  3. The Employees Special Award Rate,
  4. The Employees Hours paid at $ in their Award & Agreement.


Annual Leave + Loading

e-PayDay® Payroll Software - Annual Leave and Loading (Default Pay Type)

Annual Leave and Loading is used when an Employee is taking a portion of their Annual Leave entitlement and is used in lieu of Award Rate. These payments will be taxed at the marginal rate, which is the same tax rate as their NORMAL Pay.

All payments made using this type will be calculated using the base rate (multipled by 117.50%), from the following sections, in the following prority;

  1. The Employees Advanced Pay Set Up unless Calculate Base Rate on Advanced Pay Settings is selected,
  2. The Employees Special Award Rate,
  3. The Employees Hours paid at $ in their Award & Agreement.


Personal Leave

e-PayDay® Payroll Software - Personal Leave (Default Pay Type)

Personal Leave is used when an Employee is taking a portion of their Personal Leave entitlement and is used in lieu of Award Rate. These payments will be taxed at the marginal rate, which is the same tax rate as their NORMAL Pay.

All payments made using this type will be calculated using the base rate, from the following sections, in the following prority;

  1. The Personal Leave Pay Rate, where the set rate (100%) has been changed.
  2. The Employees Advanced Pay Set Up unless Calculate Base Rate on Advanced Pay Settings is selected,
  3. The Employees Special Award Rate,
  4. The Employees Hours paid at $ in their Award & Agreement.


Long Service Leave

e-PayDay® Payroll Software - Long Service Leave (Default Pay Type)

Long Service Leave is used when an Employee is taking a portion of their Long Service Leave entitlement and is used in lieu of Award Rate. These payments will be taxed at the marginal rate, which is the same tax rate as their NORMAL Pay.

All payments made using this type will be calculated using the base rate, from the following sections, in the following prority;

  1. The Long Service Leave Pay Rate, where the set rate (100%) has been changed.
  2. The Employees Advanced Pay Set Up unless Calculate Base Rate on Advanced Pay Settings is selected,
  3. The Employees Special Award Rate,
  4. The Employees Hours paid at $ in their Award & Agreement.


RDO’s

e-PayDay® Payroll Software - RDOs (Default Pay Type)

RDO’s is used when an Employee is taking a portion of their RDO entitlement and is used in lieu of Award Rate. These payments will be taxed at the marginal rate, which is the same tax rate as their NORMAL Pay.

All payments made using this type will be calculated using the base rate, from the following sections, in the following prority;

  1. The RDO’s Pay Rate, where the set rate (100%) has been changed.
  2. The Employees Advanced Pay Set Up unless Calculate Base Rate on Advanced Pay Settings is selected,
  3. The Employees Special Award Rate,
  4. The Employees Hours paid at $ in their Award & Agreement.


Public Holiday

e-PayDay® Payroll Software - Public Holiday (Default Pay Type)

Public Holiday is used when an Employee is taking a Public Holiday and is used in lieu of Award Rate. These payments will be taxed at the marginal rate, which is the same tax rate as their NORMAL Pay.

All payments made using this type will be calculated using the base rate, from the following sections, in the following prority;

  1. The Public Holiday Pay Rate, where the set rate (100%) has been changed.
  2. The Employees Advanced Pay Set Up unless Calculate Base Rate on Advanced Pay Settings is selected,
  3. The Employees Special Award Rate,
  4. The Employees Hours paid at $ in their Award & Agreement.


Paid Parental Leave

e-PayDay® Payroll Software - Paid Parental Leave (Default Pay Type)

Paid Parental Leave is used when an Employee is receiving financial support from the Australian Government (or your Company, where a policy is applicable) for a newborn or recently adopted child/ren and is used in lieu of Award Rate. These payments will be taxed at the marginal rate, which is the same tax rate as their NORMAL Pay.

All payments made using this type will be calculated using the base rate, from the following sections, in the following prority;

  1. The Paid Parental Leave Pay Rate, where the set rate (100%) has been changed.
  2. The Employees Advanced Pay Set Up unless Calculate Base Rate on Advanced Pay Settings is selected,
  3. The Employees Special Award Rate,
  4. The Employees Hours paid at $ in their Award & Agreement.


TIL Accrued

e-PayDay® Payroll Software - TIL Accrued (Default Pay Type)

All payments made using this type will increase the Employees TIL Balance based on the amount entered during the pay run. Any banked hours using this type are not applicable for payment until TIL Taken is used during a pay run.


TIL Taken

e-PayDay® Payroll Software - TIL Taken (Default Pay Type)

All payments made using this type will reduce he Employees TIL Balance based on the amount entered during the pay run. TIL Taken will use the rate which has been predefined in the employees Award & Agreement, Special Award Rate or Advanced Pay Set Up unless Calculate Base Rate on Advanced Pay Settings is selected and and will be taxed at the marginal rate (same tax rate as their NORMAL Pay).


Banked Hours Accrued

All payments made using this type will increase the Employees Banked Hours / RDO’s Balance based on the amount entered during the pay run. Any banked hours using this type are not applicable for payment until Banked Hours Taken is used during a pay run.


Banked Hours Taken

All payments made using this type will reduce he Employees Banked Hours / RDO’s Balance based on the amount entered during the pay run. Banked Hours Taken will use the rate which has been predefined in the employees Award & Agreement, Special Award Rate or Advanced Pay Set Up unless Calculate Base Rate on Advanced Pay Settings is selected and and will be taxed at the marginal rate (same tax rate as their NORMAL Pay).
