Before starting the installation ensure,

  • There is a minimum of 1GB hard disk space available.
  • You are logged in as an Administrator.
  • Antivirus software will allow installations. Some Anti-Virus Software have been known to report a .exe file (install file) as a false positive.
  • All open programs have been closed.
  1. Download and install Full Install/Upgrade for the current financial year here then
  2. Once downloaded, double click E-PAYDAY_LEGACY_202X.exe to start the e-PayDay® Installation.
  3. Click Next > on the Welcome screen.
  4. Select I understand and wish to continue then click Next >.
  5. Select I agree to the terms of this license agreement then click Next >.
  6. If you wish to export your payroll information from e-PayDay® to your accounting software, select the required option here. Otherwise, leave as None then click Next >.
  7. When prompted, select from the following options;
    1. Stand-Alone Installatione-PayDay® will be run on a single computer, installed onto your C:\ Drive, in a folder called e-PayDay BE. We strongly advise that you do not change the default installation settings unless you are completely sure of your requirements.
      1. Enter the Registration Owner: Contact for the Company.
      2. Enter the Registration Organisation: Legal Entity Name (Company Name).
    2. Server Installe-PayDay® will be run on multiple computers and the data will be obtained from a Server (UNC Path). You CANNOT run e-PayDay® on the same computer (as a Client) that the Company Data files are to be shared from (Server).
      1. PLEASE COMPLETE A SERVER INSTALLATION AS PER BELOW, BEFORE COMPLETING ANY CLIENT INSTALLATIONS.
      1. Enter or select the path to where the Data Files will be stored on the Server (UNC Path) or Mapped Network Drive (eg. \\servername\payroll).
        1. I cannot see my Server or Mapped Network Drives
  8. Client Installe-PayDay® will be run on multiple computers and the data will be obtained from a Server (UNC Path) or Mapped Network Drive. You CANNOT run e-PayDay® on the same computer (as a Client) that the Company Data files are to be shared from (Server).
    1. Enter the Registration Owner: Contact for the Company.
    2. Enter the Registration Organisation: Legal Entity Name (Company Name).
    3. Leave Application File Path as set, unless directed otherwise.
    4. Change Data File Path to the path to where the Data Files are stored on the Server (UNC Path) or Mapped Network Drive, which was previously set during the Server Install. (eg. \\servername\payroll).
      1. I cannot see my Server or Mapped Network Drives
Click Next > on the Ready to Install screen. Once the installer has completed, click Finish
