The sizing of Bioretention is based on the Sustainable Technologies Evaluation Program (STEP) recommendations.
Default parameters from VO are used except the followings:
- Surface Ponding Layer: Depth – Area Curve:

- Mulch Layer: Depth is 0.075 m.
- Engineering Soil Layer: Width is 20 m and Length is 100 m.
- Native Soil: Soil Texture is Sandy Loam, Infiltration rate is 0.0114 m/hr.
