Step 10: Set Parameters for Filter

Now we will enter parameters for the Filter, which can be used to represent any mechanical water quality treatment which does not provide flow attenuation. Filters in VO have two outputs, i.e. overflow (i.e. bypass) shown as a red arrow and treated flow shown as a black arrow. Use the button to switch bypass and treated flows. Each flow is directed to a Junction , which read output data from the flow.

Set the Treated Flow value to the peak flow from the upstream catchment “Commercial with Wetland” under the storm event “Pickering – 25mm 4hr Chicago”.
