In the Process Specification Edit window, users can detail the process specifications.

There are five tabs to consider in this window: (1) Specifications, (2) Inputs, (3) Outputs, (4) Acceptance Criteria, and (5) Performance Indicators.

  1. Specifications

In the Specifications tab, users can provide key information about the process, including (but not limited to) its goals, triggers, requirements, and rules. Users can also identify the roles and responsibilities of the stakeholders in the process—the participants, responsible party, accountable party, etc.

  • For the most part, this tab is composed of text fields into which users can enter the relevant information.
    • There is, however, the following exception:
      • Type: This is a radio button that allows users to select only one option from a set of mutually exclusive options. Users can distinguish the process as either a main or support process.
  1. Inputs

In the Inputs tab, users can set up the inputs of the process.

  • For each entry in the table, users can specify the output, form, time, and receiver.
  1. Outputs

In the Outputs tab, users can set up the outputs of the process.

  • For each entry in the table, users can specify the input, form, time, and starter.
  1. Acceptance Criteria

In the Acceptance Criteria tab, users can set up the acceptance criteria for the process.

  • For each entry in the table, users can specify the name, criterion, average, and target.
  1. Performance Indicators

In the Performance Indicators tab, users can set up the performance indicators for the process.

  • For each entry in the table, users can specify the name and approximate.
