When a user deploys an application from the Designer, it typically connects to the Scheduler (which must be running) on the local machine.
Note: Users have the ability to define how the Designer can locate the Scheduler in the Designer Settings.
The Designer sends new and updated schedules directly to the Scheduler, which stores all the information in the database.
