13.4. Code Messages

In the Code Messages section of this module, users can create code messages for the application.

*Code messages are messages or alerts that provide information about the status or behavior of the web application. They can be used to provide feedback to the user or to signal an error or problem that needs attention. Code messages can take various forms, such as error messages, warning messages, or informational messages.

To manage code messages in the application, take the following steps:

1. From the Application Tree, navigate to Business Logics > Code Messages (double-click to open). It will display the Code Messages tab and expand the menu bar to show additional options.
   

*In this tab, users can access a list of all defined code messages in the application. For guidance on how to manipulate the data presented in this tab, click here.

2. From the menu bar, select the desired option.
   
   • New: This button allows users to define a new code message.
     • If selected, it will display the Code Message Editor window.
   • Delete: This button allows users to delete an existing code message.
     • To use this function, first select a code message from the list.
   • Edit : This button allows users to edit the properties of an existing code message.
     • If selected, it will display the Code Message Editor window. In this version of the window, however, all fields are populated with previously inputted information.
     • To use this function, first select a code message from the list.
   • Refresh : This button allows users to refresh the Code Messages tab.
   • Close: This button allows users to close the Code Messages tab.
