16.3.1. Connect to Database

In the Connect to Database window, users can configure connection settings and credentials for various database systems, including MySQL, OLE DB, ODBC, and Microsoft Access.

1. Connection Name: This is a text field that allows users to input the name of the database connection.
2. Connection Type: This field allows users to choose the connection type from a dropdown menu.
   • Depending on the connection type selected, the settings in the next step of the configuration process will adapt accordingly.
     • Connection Types:
       • MySQL
       • OLE DB
       • ODBC
       • Access
3. Back: This button allows users to navigate back to the previous step in the connection configuration process.
4. Next: This button allows users to proceed to the next step of the connection configuration process.
5. Exit: This button allows users to exit the configuration process and close the window.
