All sales activities are centered around the Account. An Account can be created directly under the Accounts tab or, by converting a Lead. In everyday usage, we can consider an Account the same as a ‘Prospect’, who is willing to ask for and use details from you and engage with you. It sill does not guarantee that they would buy from you.
You can get the Accounts listed on the Accounts home page by running a wildcard search.
If you want to create an Account directly in CREST ERP or if your company does not want to bring the Leads into the CRM, click the Create Account link. An Account in CREST ERP cannot be deleted.
For capturing or scheduling an Activity for an Account, click the Create Activity link against the Account. In the alternative, you can enter an Activity directly from the Activities tab. Refer Follow-up Activities
The other actions that you may perform against an Account are
- Adding more Contacts to it
- Recording potential business Opportunities with it
