Receiving Excess Units

Sometimes the Supplier may deliver excess over ordered quantity. CREST ERP allows you to either receive only the ordered quantity and reject the rest or receive some/all of the excess.

However, in the case of items which are subject to regular quantity variance owing to their nature or packaging constraints, you can allow excess or shortages during deliveries by Suppliers. This is controlled by the Purchase Tolerance settings in the Product Master

In this example, the system will allow you to accept an excess or shortage of up to 30% of the Order Quantity.
