Setting Up Your CREST ERP Organization GL

The Organization GL Settings section helps you set up specific organisation entities (companies) in your CREST ERP instance and then set the Accounting Preferences for them. Almost all of these refer back to the Global Settings templates.

The starting point, the Home page, lists all the active Organizations.

You can enter the Accounting Preferences section for a company by clicking the Setup link

*You can only update the Error GL Journal ID and Refund Payment Method ID, once the organisation is created. If you need to change any of the fields that are not modifiable then it can be done via the Entity Data Maintenance on Webtools menu using the PartyAcctgPreference entity. You will need to be careful in editing an existing preference especially if the configuration already been used for transactions
