The Chart of Accounts is a collection of the heads of accounts under which an organisation’s financial transactions will be recorded and reported on. It will follow globally accepted conventions for naming GL accounts and financial reporting groups so as to allow easy interpretation of financial reports across the world.

All General Ledger accounts must exist in the global template before they can be assigned to be used at the organisation level (e.g. Company). No GL account is created at the organisation level.

You can maintain the Chart of Accounts in CREST ERP under FINANCIALS > Global GL Settings > Chart of Accounts
