You will decide on dropping a Lead or going ahead with it following the initial interactions. In the second scenario, you will convert the lead to an ‘Account’. Converting a lead is a one-time process and you should ensure that the Lead qualifies for conversion. Once converted, it cannot be undone or reversed.
The status of the above lead is ‘Proposal/Agreement To Be Sent’ , which is mapped to ‘Converted’ stage in Settings
To convert the lead, click Convert Lead. On the screen that opens, click Convert to confirm.
The Lead is converted and its status will be updated to ‘Converted To Account’. An Account is created for the Organisation and a Contact created for the person.
Browse the converted Lead’s Account and you will find the Contact for the Lead attached
