Quick Close

This is an option that lets you complete all routing tasks, report production and close a Production Run in just one click, without having to confirm it. One of the pre-conditions for this to work is that all materials must be in stock.

In the following illustration, the Production Run has just been created, but not yet confirmed and released to production.

The Tasks are yet to get started and materials yet to be issued

Clicking Quick Close does the following

• starting all tasks
• issuing all materials
• reporting production
• closing production run

*In this case, all tasks are assumed to have actually taken exactly the estimated time for setup and run

Similarly, entire planned quantity of material is issued and consumed, with no excess left
