Creating a new Product in CREST ERP is a multi-step process, though you get everything on one screen. Product details are split across the following sections:

  1. Basic Configuration – minimum essential information about a product
  2. Advanced Configuration – technical attributes, stock locations, associated parties etc. [OPTIONAL]
  3. E-Commerce Configuration – Details such as geo restrictions, keywords, product images for the web store [OPTIONAL]
  4. Accounting Configuration – Product-specific accounting overrides [OPTIONAL]
  5. Miscellaneous Configuration [OPTIONAL]

The Optional sections need to be filled in only if the business needs them. These are detailed in the following sections
