Shipment Plan

When a shipment is created for a Sales Order, the corresponding Shipment Plan can also be created

Click on the Shipment Plan tab under the Shipments menu group to begin

Shipment Plans are created by Ship Group. Group Sequence ID 0001 will be shown by default. Click Submit to load the items, assigned to the sequence in the Sales Order, to the Shipment Plan. You can adjust the actual shipment quantities, if required.

Click Add to create the Shipping Plan with the items/quantities. A reservation is placed on the available stock of every item on the plan, for the respective quantities.

Click ‘Remove’ against any item to take it out of the plan.

*Items cannot be removed during the creation of a Shipment Plan, but only after its creation

You can create Shipment Plans by remaining Ship Group Sequences for the order, following the same process

*If all items will be shipped together in one lot, it would not make sense to break down order items into multiple Ship Groups in the Sales Order
