Opportunity Status-Probability Mapping

The probability of a sale is different at various stages of an Opportunity. In order to get a fair estimate of the value of an Opportunity pipeline, we must know the probability of sale at every stage. These probabilities must be assigned beforehand.

When recording an Opportunity in CREST ERP, you must choose its Status and the probability will be automatically assigned, based on the mapping over here. This probability will be applied to the value of the Opportunity entered to get the Estimated Revenue. See the illustration below.
