Well, there are two ways of completing and closing an Activity:
- Updating its status to Final
- Clicking the Complete link against it in the Activity listing
Any Activity in CREST CRM can have an Initial Status and a Final Status as:
Activity Initial , Final
======================
Call: Scheduled, Completed
Event: Tentative, Confirmed
Task: Accepted, Completed
Merely adding the Actual Completion Date will not mark an Activity as ‘Completed’. You must open the Activity and update its status to Final to complete it.
In the alternative, click the Complete link against it in the Activity list and update details in the popup window.
Enter a Note and click Complete. Any Note that you enter here will appear in the Notes panel of the Activity, once it is saved.
