Associate Products

You can associate the routing to one or more Products, that follow exactly the same manufacturing process, with the Product Routing Link feature. This is feasible in the case of products from the same family or minor variants of a product.

Click on the Product Routing Link tab to add a new Product to the Routing. Find and select the Product, the From and Thru dates are optional. You can also optionally enter the Quantity of the Product required for making one unit of the BOM Product (parent item), as well as the Cost/unit.

When a Product is added to a Routing, the screen stays in Edit mode. You can use the Create Routing Product Link on top to add another product to the Routing
