Price Discovery Using RFQs

It is usual in the procurement process to request a few select Suppliers to submit their quotes for the goods or services required. In response to the Requests For Quote (RFQ), Suppliers send in their Quotes. After reviewing price, delivery terms and other conditions of offer, one or more Suppliers will be chosen. This process helps discovery of prices and in buying things on competitive terms.
