If your warehouse has been properly organised into Aisles, Sections, Levels/Floors and Positions, receiving incoming goods in the correct location will help you manage scarce warehouse space better.
For this to happen, you should first plan your warehouse in CREST ERP as illustrated below
The items should be assigned to specific storage locations
In the Purchase Order, assign items to the correct warehouse using the Ship Group feature
Create Shipment/s for the Purchase Order as usual. At the time of receiving against a Shipment, choose the correct location from the list
The item is received in the selected location within the warehouse
Different shipments are similarly assigned locations
Click open the Physical Inventory tab and search for the product to list the physical stocks in the system. You can see that the two shipments have been assigned to the warehouse locations chosen while receiving
When you have to issue stock manually, you can pick stocks from the desired stock locations.
