Receiving Lot-controlled Items

In the case of Lot tracking-enabled items, you need to assign Lot numbers to the incoming shipments.

The receiving screen will show a ‘Map Lot/Serial No.’ link for such items

Clicking the link will open the Map Lot/Serial No. screen for entering Lot details.

*Lot Numbers are not assigned automatically, as you may want to receive the shipment in more than one lot.

If receiving the shipment in more than one lot, as many receiving rows will be added.

The quantity split across one or more lots should add up to the total quantity being received for the item.

If the item is enabled for expiry date tracking, the same will be suggested based on the number of months configured in the Product Master

Click Save after entering the lot details and you will be taken back to the receiving screen. Click Receive to confirm receipt for the assigned Lot/s and the next Lot number in the sequence will be assigned to the shipment
