Quote Information

This tab lets you do two things to the Quote

1. Make adjustments to the quote
2. Assign new parties to the Quote or new roles to existing parties

Quote Adjustments

You can make adjustments at the Quote level or Item level. The adjustments allowed include applying a promotion to the order or an item, discount, additional charges or fees etc.

You can enter the value of the adjustment as an amount or as a percentage of the value – Quote total or item line total, as the case may be. Click Add to introduce the adjustment to the Quote. If you choose an Order Item Seq. ID from the dropdown, the adjustment will apply at the item line level. If you do not, it will apply at the Order level, across all items.

You can enter any number of adjustments to a Quote.

Check the View tab to see the adjustments applied to the Quote

Quote Roles

All existing Roles applicable to the Quote are shown in the Quote Role panel. You can add new Parties and roles to the Quote. The role will automatically expire after the ‘Through Date’.
