You can add order line items one by one on this tab.

Adding order lines to Sales Order-CREST ERP

Look up the item by typing in the Product ID or the first few letters of its name. If the item exists in the system, it will be listed, as you type, in the search results window from where you can select it. If the item is new, it has to be added to the Products master.

When the item is found in the master, the quantity Available To Promise (ATP) and Quantity On Hand (QOH) are shown on the top right. Once a Sales order is booked for a particular item, a stock reservation is created on the item for the ordered quantity. ATP quantity is the free stock balance, after all reservations for the item.

ATP = QOH – Reserved Qty

Therefore, ATP can be lower than QOH, if there are pending orders in the system for the particular item.

Enter the quantity being ordered and the Unit of Measurement (UOM). If a price has not been entered for the item in the Product Master, UOM will not be shown. The stock location also will be shown below the UOM info. The Department must be tagged to the order.

If a Discount has to be applied to the item, choose the Discount Type and enter the percentage value or amount, as the case may be. If a discount is applied to an item, it will be shown against the item line under the Line Discount column in the Order Items section, when it is added to the order

The earliest and latest shipping dates for the item can be entered, if required. This will override those already entered on the Order Header tab.

Click ‘Add’ to insert the item line and it will be shown below the item selection pane. Add all item lines in this manner.

If you want to remove one or more items from the order, click the checkboxes against them and click Remove Selected..

If changing the price for one or more items on the order, click Recalculate Order to update the changes

Once all item lines have been added, click ‘Continue’ to go to the Order Review page.
