Associations

This is a very useful means to link a Product to other products in various relationships, such as complimentary, accessory, Bill of Material item etc. In the case of E-commerce, upgrade or upsell, also bought, substitute relationships matter as sales aids.

Association maps for a product are listed on the Associations screen. The Inbound and Outbound associations are listed separately.

You cannot edit the core association type once it is created. To change an association type, recreate it with a new association type
