As already discussed, Leads need follow-up before they can be converted to Accounts. Similarly, Accounts need continuous follow-up to find new Sales Opportunities in them and convert them to Sales. That is the reason Activities has been assigned a separate tab in CREST CRM.

The method of creating a new Activity and everything else is the same for Leads and Accounts. Therefore, what has been described in the following sections are equally applicable to Leads.

With several active accounts and several executives following up, chances of delays in closing sales and missing out on opportunities are high. With proper recording and tracking, you can close more sales, faster. Managers get complete visibility into team activities and can step in whenever required.

You can schedule an activity for an Account either from the Account list on the Accounts home screen or directly under the Activities tab. This is useful if you want to restrict access to Accounts only to Managers, but Sales Executives should be allowed to add activities and update them.
