Confirm or Release a Prodn. Run

Once scheduled, a production run awaits final release to shopfloor. This is done by clicking the Confirm link.

The status of the run changes to Confirmed. The Edit Production Run tab disappears, as the run is no longer editable. Instead, the Production Run Declaration tab is activated. Alongside, Actual Materials tab also gets activated, which will show actual consumption of materials. The header also show Actual Start Date and Actual Completion Date placeholders, which will be updated once the production run ends.

Once the Run is confirmed, the first Routing Task is set to Start. The subsequent tasks will get enabled as and when the preceding task is completed and production reported.
