During raining event, the rain water will flow on the street and a part of them will entre sewer system, i.e. storm sewer and sanitary sewer. Therefore, it is important to model the flow on the street and integrate the hydraulic simulation of overland system with the underground sewer systems, which is called Dual-Drainage Modeling. In this tutorial, we will focus on how to create a dual-drainage model, especially about the creation of overland system and its connection with sewer systems. In the tutorial Modeling and Analysis of Manhole Inflow & Infiltration Using Dual-Drainage Method, we will explain in more details about how to model and analyze manhole inflow and infiltration (I&I) based on manhole cover types.
