LGS SB 1.7 Lifeguard Operations Hours

Purpose

The operating hours of the Lifeguard Service are written in the contract and vary with the time of year. In certain circumstances the Lifeguard hours can be extended due to special events within the parklands or increased visitations. The contracted Lifeguard operating hours are as follows:

General Operating Hours

1st December – 31st January 0700 – 2400
1st February – 28st February / 1st November – 30th November 0700 – 2200
1st March – End of Easter School Holidays 0700 – 2100
End of Easter School Holidays – May Day Long Weekend 0700 – 1900
May Day Long Weekend –31th August 0900 – 1700
1st September – September School Holidays 0700 – 1900
September School Holidays – 1st November 0700 – 2100
