Introduction

The following document outlines the correct storage point for all Gear & Equipment.

Policy

The following procedures are to be followed in order to ensure that SLSQ Lifeguard service and the Point Lookout SLSC shared gear and equipment is kept in good condition and ready for use in all instances.

First Aid Room

• Defibrillator shared
• Hand Held Radio
  

Gear Shed

• Red & Yellow Flags/ Feathers
• Red & Yellow Flags Stands
• Surf Craft Rider Signs and flags.
• Power Craft Launch area signs and witches hats.
• Hazard Signs
• Danger No Swimming Signs
• Beach Reports Spike Board
• Beach Reports Sandwich Board
• Yellow Flag, Red Flag, Shark Flag and Poles
• Fins
• Spinal Boards
• Rescue Tubes
• Rescue Boards (only when needed)
• Rescue Board Stands
  

Adder Shed

• Lifeguard tents
• Jet skis
• Eskies
  

All equipment is to be cleaned and returned to the correct storage point ready for use by the other party on the last day of each stint of service delivery.

In the case of damage to any shared equipment please report this to your supervisor immediately for rectification.
