Uninet Stinger enclosure daily net checks:

Duties as follows:

• Inspect net once daily as close to low tide as possible:
  • Check as much of the net that is out of the water:
    • Remove any sticks, debris, sand or animals from the net;
    • Repair any holes in the net or missing cable ties on the chain;
    • Set the chains for the prevailing conditions;
  • Check air pump operation, boom pressure. Take action as required including finding and patching holes in the boom.
  • Report any unresolved problems to Lifeguard Supervisor as soon as possible.
• Other minor maintenance or breakdown duties, as directed by Lifeguard Supervisor after consultation with TCC & Uninet.
• Closing the beach if required with appropriate signage. Opening the beach when the problem has been rectified, including removing signage.
