26.23. LGS SSC 023 Location Description – North Peregian

Vehicle Storage Address: Heron Street underground car park under Raw Energy or Lifeguards residence
Storage Address: Peregian SLSC Kingfisher Drive Peregian & Toilet Block Peregian Esplanade Beach Access 48
Bathing Area Address: Peregian Esplanade Beach Access 48

MORNING
September – May Weekends

• Go to the Peregian Lifeguard tower and collect vehicle keys and communications equipment (phone and radio) from white cupboard inside the tower. Peregian volunteer lifesavers should already have the tower open
• Collect vehicle from in front of the Peregian SLSC
• Collect jet ski from inside the Surf Club
• Proceed north along Peregian Esplanade to the toilet block at beach access 48
• Storage shed is attached to the back of the toilet block
• Keys to get into the storage shed and open the gate on beach access 48 are in a lock box on the wall next to the door
• Collect boards, flags, signage and log books
• Proceed to the beach via beach access 48
• Follow generic set up from this point
  

MORNING
September, Christmas & Easter Holidays

Option 1

• Collect vehicle from in front of the Peregian SLSC
• Collect jet ski from inside the Surf Club
  

Option 2

• Arrange to collect vehicle from Lifeguard who is on duty the day before your shift
• All communications equipment (phone and radio) will be with vehicle. It is the Lifeguards responsibility to charge at home each night
• Proceed to Peregian Esplanade to the toilet block at beach access 48
• Storage shed is behind the toilet block
• Keys to get into the storage shed and open the gate on beach access 48 are in a lock box on the wall next to the door
• Collect boards, flags, signage and log books
• Check all rescue and emergency equipment
• Proceed to the beach via beach access 48
• Follow generic set up
  

AFTERNOON
September – May Weekends

• Follow generic close and also
• Return boards, flags, signage and log books into storage shed
• Return vehicle and jet ski to Peregian SLSC
• Return keys to the cupboard in the Peregian Lifeguard tower
• Place all communications equipment (phone and radio) back on charge
  

AFTERNOON
September, Christmas & Easter Holidays

Option 1

• Return boards, flags, signage and log books into storage shed
• Return vehicle and jet ski to Peregian SLSC
• Return keys to the cupboard in the Peregian Lifeguard tower
  

Option 2

• Contact Lifeguard on duty the next day to communicate vehicle change over

• Place keys back in lock box
• Return jet ski to Peregian SLSC (only on weekends)
