26.41. LGS SSC 041 Location Description – Currimundi

Storage Address: 1A Coochin Street, Dicky Beach QLD 4551
Tower Address: 1 Westaway Parade, Currimundi QLD 4551

MORNING

• Lifeguards arrive at Dicky Beach Lifeguard storage shed & open shed by using the key from the lock box near the shed door
• Collect and check the Dicky Beach ATV / Jet ski & rescue equipment
• Collect phone/radio from cupboard in the Dicky Beach storage shed & log onto LIMSOC
• Rove to Currimundi Lifeguard Tower on beach with ATV 7 Jet Ski if conditions allow
• Arrive at Currimundi Lifeguard Tower & open tower with Abloy Key that is kept in the lock box on the tower
• Red/yellow flags are kept in tower with Flag poles stored on the Lifeguard tower
• Follow generic set up
• Make sure the NO Swimming signs are at the Currimundi creek mouth at all times
• Dog signs are access 254 and 255
  

AFTERNOON

• Follow generic close
• Flags are to be taken off and kept in tower poles to be locked in holders on deck of tower
• Signage to be stored in cage under tower
• Rove along beach to Dicky Beach Lifeguard shed wash down ATV/Jet ski and store in Shed
