24.15. LGS RWL 3.1 Keys and Swipes

Purpose

Townsville City Council Provide SLSQ with a key and swipe card for daily use; the key gains access to the secure area containing staff room, staff kitchen and lifeguard equipment. While the swipe card is used to gain access to the library.

Procedure

The Senior Lifeguard is required to always keep the key and swipe card with them when they are on duty. The Senior Lifeguard is responsible for the key and swipe card and may be required to pay for the replacement cost if lost or missing. The key/swipe card is not to be provided to other, contractors, stakeholders or the public without prior approval from the Lifeguard Supervisor.

If any swipe card or key is lost or missing, the Lifeguard Supervisor to be informed immediately.
