Purpose
This Procedure has been put in place to ensure Lifeguards (when applicable in each area) have the correct ID and uniform when dealing with members of the public with Local Laws.

Procedure
Photo identification (if supplied) must be available upon request at all times while on duty. It is important that Lifeguards wear only the correct supplied uniform hats that displays the Australian Lifeguard Service logo and where necessary the appropriate council logo.
Lifeguards are required to supply their name and employer if requested by a member of the public. A Lifeguard parking permit may be issued to staff to allow parking of private vehicles in appropriately sign posted Lifeguard permit only bays. These parking bays are only located at a selection of Lifeguard stations or towers.
