Introduction
In the event that a staff member fails to arrive at work with no prior notification or contact (replacement), the following is to take place regardless of the number of attending Lifeguard to ensure the service is not compromised at any time throughout the day.
Procedure
- The Senior Lifeguard of the day is to immediately contact the Townsville Lifeguard Supervisor and inform them of the situation.
- The Lifeguard Supervisor is to try and contact the ‘non-arrival’ staff member and then find a replacement if needed.
- If the Lifeguard Supervisor cannot be contacted, then the Head of Lifeguard Operations to be contacted and informed of the situation.
