28.32. LGS NSI 032 Beach Permits

Introduction

North Stradbroke Island has some of the most beautiful and accessible beaches in South east Queensland. Redland City Council and Straddie Camping have a beach access permit system that helps manage the safety for both visitors and the environment. The permit is for driving on Flinders Beach and Main Beach. An additional permit is required for boat launching from Cylinder and Home Beach. Local bylaws has more information.
