26.33. LGS SSC 033 Location Description – Maroochydore River Mouth

Storage Address: 34-36 Alexandra Parade, Maroochydore QLD 4558

MORNING
Mid-Week

• Lifeguard arrives at Maroochydore Lifeguard tower
• Lifeguard Converses with the Maroochydore Lifeguards and picks up phone and radio from Maroochy Lifeguard shed behind the Maroochy Lifeguard Tower Take phone,/radio off charge and turn on & Log onto LIMSOC
• Lifeguard Picks up the ATV
• Lifeguard then drives to the Maroochy River mouth
• Lifeguard then picks a suitable position to monitor the river mouth and sets up Lifeguard tent
  

MORNING
Weekends

• Both Lifeguards Arrive @ Pierce Park Lifeguard Shed
• Open Shed With Ably key which is stored in the Lick Box on the shed
• Take phone,/radio off charge and turn on & Log onto LIMSOC
• Drive ATV and Jet Ski to river mouth
• Set up appropriate signage and place tent and jet ski in appropriate place to keep surveillance of the river
  mouth
  

AFTERNOON
Mid – Week

• Pack up signage and Tent
• Follow generic close
• Return to Maroochydore SLSC and wash down ATV and refuel for next day
• Walk back to Maroochy Lifeguard shed behind the Maroochy Lifeguard tower and place the phone and radio on charge
  

AFTERNOON
Weekends

• Pack up signage and Tent
• Hook up Jet Ski
• Follow generic close
• Drive back to Pierce Park Lifeguard Shed
• Wash ATV and Jet ski down
• Store ATV and jet ski in shed
• Put phone and Radios on Charge
• Lock Shed and put Abloy key back in Lock Box
