LGS SBPP 2.1 Description of Pools

Main Pool Description

• 3 parts of Main Pool are separated by the lane ropes.
• Main pool is separated into three parts with corresponding depths.

Description of Northern Part of Main Pool

• Separated by a lane rope to the middle of the pool.
• Depths vary from 0 – 1.1m
• Adjacent to the northern weir and Boat pool.
  

Description of Middle of Main Pool

• Separated by a lane rope to the northern and Southern ends of the pool.
• Depths vary from 0 – 1.8m
• In line with the Main beach and back wall, parallel to the Promenade
  

Description of Southern Part of Main Pool

• Separated by a lane rope to the middle of the pool.
• Depths vary from 0 – 1.1m
• Adjacent to the Southern weir and Aquativity.

• Sand
• Decking
• Concrete
• Vegetation – if any is blocking supervision.
• Signage – water depth, by-laws, lifeguard on/duty, operating hours, A-Frames
• Entry and Exit Points – Stairs/Ladders/Sand/Lack of Ramp
• Infrastructure such as Electrical Boxes or Lights
