The Educational Detail Page is shown as follows:
Review the education records and select the Equivalent Degree for Grading Purposes for each record. Then under the Highest Degree column, indicate with a check mark the highest level of education.
Add new education records based on the updated PHP (Candidate and Administrative Profiles), if necessary. To add a new education record:
- Click on Add Education Details link.
- Enter the School name.
- Select the Type of institution.
- Select the Degree/Diploma.
- Indicate the Equivalent Degree for Grading Purposes.
Expand each option for a description:
- HS Diploma/Others

- Certificate or Diploma
- Shorter/Intermediate University Level Qualification
- Lower than Bachelor
- First Level
-
- Bachelor’s or equivalent
- First Terminal University Level Qualification (3/4 years) and First Terminal University Level Qualification (4 years or more)
- Advanced Level
-
- Master’s or equivalent
- Advanced/Post Graduate Qualification (with or without research training) Level and Advanced/Post Graduate Degree
- Third Level

- Doctorate or Higher/Post Doctorate
Equivalent Degree for Grading Purposes – refers to the table showing IAU/UNESCO credential level and the equivalence used by the United Nations for recruitment purposes. For further information, refer to the Staff Selection System Manual in inspira.
- Select Yes or No to indicate if the degree was completed.
- Select the Main Course of Study.
- Enter the From Date and the End Date.
- Add Notes, as applicable
