Examples of a comment might include:

  • The proposed grade in step is to be revised given that the nature of PhD is highly relevant to the nature of the position. Therefore, you are authorized to amend step to xxx.
  • The proposed grade in step is to be revised as the nature of PhD does not grant an automatic step increment. Furthermore, given that the nature of the doctoral work is not relevant to the nature of the position, you are requested to amend to step xxx and resubmit.
  • Overlapping periods of work experience exist and were not taken into consideration in the total relevant work experience. Kindly amend and resubmit.

Examples of attachments to be included are an updated PHP (Candidate and Administrative Profiles) or the applicant’s mail confirming their interest in the job opening (for non-inspira cases); any relevant correspondence from applicant; a release request; any relevant correspondence between the Offer Facilitator and Offer Manager; release requests, etc.

Documentation for verification purposes should have been uploaded for reference. Should you need to attach additional documents, you may do so by clicking Add Attachment. Examples of attachments include: current employment contract documenting additional experience or academic credentials showing higher degree not reflected in PHP (Candidate and Administrative Profiles); an email from the applicant requesting/justifying a higher step; email correspondence with the Offer Facilitator on an issue; or policy documents relevant for the determination (e.g., exception approved for the specific case).
