Once the Releasing Officer submits a decision to accept or reject the Online Release Request, the Offer Facilitator or Offer Manager will receive a notification, with copy to the Notification Recipients, if selected, and the Releasing Officer. A pdf copy of the signed Release Request Document (Release Advice) will be attached to the notification. This notification will be recorded in the Communication History of the Offer Management case.

If the Releasing Officer agrees to the release request, the Activity Status changes to Accepted by Releasing Officer.

If the release request is denied (in the case of temporary assignment), the Activity Status changes to Rejected by Releasing Officer. If the Offer Management case has proceeded beyond Step 1, next time the Offer Facilitator or Offer Manager and the signatory access the Offer Management case, they will be alerted that the Release Request was denied, and that necessary action should be taken.

In case the decision to reject the Release Request changes following offline discussions between the requesting and releasing offices, the Offer Facilitator or Offer Manager will need to Regenerate the Release Request Document and proceed with reviewing and resubmitting it to the signatory, as described above.
