If the Releasing Officer is not in a position to release the staff member (for assignment cases only):

  1. Select the option, “We are not in a position to release…” under the Release Advice section.
  2. Add the remaining information, as described in the above section on accepting the Release Request.



  3. Click Submit.



  4. Click on OK to affix the name and the current date to the online Release Document and send an automated email notification to the Signatory or Delegated Signatory with copy to the Releasing Officer, the Offer Manager and Offer Facilitator, as well as the Notification Recipients Group if selected.


In case the Releasing Officer assigned the Release Request to another delegated officer to take action, the latter will also be copied in the automated email to the Signatory or Delegated Signatory. In addition, the notification will be sent from the manually entered email address in the Release Request webform and not from the email address of the original Releasing Officer.
