The Work Experience page is shown as follows:

Review the employment records and add new entries, if necessary, based on the updated PHP (Candidate and Administrative Profiles).
  1. Take note of the Job Type(s). The available options are:
  • Full Time (calculated at 100%)
  • Intern (calculated at 50%)
  • Part Time (calculated at 50%)
  • Verify the employment dates. Any overlapping employment records will be highlighted; adjust these overlaps, as necessary, when entering the Actual Relevant Work Experience (in Months). Do not change the Start Date or End Date since, in case of an audit, these should reflect what was submitted.

Always check for overlapping periods of employment and adjust the total relevant work experience accordingly, when necessary, since the system is not configured to prevent the offer management case from proceeding even if the total relevant experience may have been overrepresented.

  1. Select the Relevance of each employment record as follows:
  • Fully relevant (calculated at 100%)
  • Partially relevant (calculated at 50%)
  • Not relevant (calculated at 0%)
  1. Enter the Actual Relevant Work Experience (in Months). Adjust any overlapping periods, if any, to avoid overrepresenting the total number of years of work experience.
  2. To make adjustments, enter a note explaining the adjustments made to that employment record.
Example: Counted from MM/YYYY to MM/YYYY only as this employment record overlaps by 2 months with their employment at ZZZZ Company.
  3. If additional work experience records need to be added, click on Add Work Experience.
  4. Click Calculate Experience to calculate the total relevant work experience.

When the Calculation Type is Short Term Translator, the Translator/Reviser field is visible and where the nature of the work experience must be specified as one of these options:

  • Translator (calculated at 100%)
  • Reviser (calculated at 100%)
  • Other Language Related (calculated at 0%)
