1. Select Yes or No to indicate if the selected candidate is changing from a fixed term appointment to a temporary appointment. This also applies to candidates changing from continuing or permanent to temporary appointment.


  2. When Yes, the following sentence is added to the offer, which may be edited to reflect the staff member’s current appointment type, i.e., continuing or permanent:
    A minimum of 31-day break in service is required for the staff members who were formerly on a fixed-term appointment to be employed on a temporary appointment as per ST/AI/2010/4/Rev.1.
