The Organization provides travel for international staff on initial appointment, reappointment, and assignment or transfer, requiring a change of duty station. Travel is also provided to eligible family members subject to the duty station family classification.
The International Civil Service Commission issues a list of duty stations with family restrictions twice per year, normally in January and in July. In the event of significant changes in the security conditions in these locations, the list may be updated or amended more frequently.
