To determine grade and step based on the PHP of the candidate, review and complete the following sections:

  • For inspira selections – the work experience and education details will be visible once the calculation type is selected.

After confirming their continued interest in the position through the My Onboarding portal, candidates have the option to update their PHP to include any new educational or work experience acquired since the time of applying for the position. Be sure to click on the View/Print Updated PHP (Candidate and Administrative Profiles) link in the page header to view these updates. For now, Offer Management users should manually add any updated educational or work experience acquired by candidates as reflected in their PHP (Candidate and Administrative Profiles) in the relevant section.

  • For non-inspira selections – once the calculation type is selected, the work experience and education details will need to be entered as specified in the submitted PHP.

The checkbox for Is this is a retroactive action with an effective date in the past? will become visible after selecting a Calculation Type. Check the box Yes, if applicable, then indicate the effective date.

For cases where the Language Agreement is AIIC or AITC (as indicated in Step 2: Job Offer Request), the checkbox for Reclassification: Only applicable for AIIC and AITC Language will become visible after selecting a Calculation Type. This checkbox is to indicate whether the candidate had been reclassified by the Classification Board during the processing of the Offer Management case which leads to an offer revision/amendment.
